Hold your event

The Museum has a fantastic room that would be perfect to host meetings for groups on a regular basis or as a one off. The study centre holds 20 people and has comfortable seating around a central table.

You can also enquire if you would like to hire out the Museum as a whole for a private function.

The Museum as a whole would also make a great event space for private functions.

Spring Half Term
Spring Half Term

Spring Half Term comes alive here at the Museum. All our galleries wake up after the winter and we have lots to share.

This year we have lost lots of lambs in the galleries and need your help to find them and once you have you can enjoy mini craft basket making in the Discovery Centre; all free with entry.

Ugly Bug Ball
Ugly Bug Ball

The summer holidays have been great fun so far and our second provision pays homage to some tiny things that play a huge role in our conservation and collections care here at the Museum, making sure we are bug free. But this summer we have been invaded by lots of magnified colourful bugs for you to find and then you can make your own to take home.

Booking is not requiredand this is free with entry.

Eco-Fun
Eco-Fun

The last of our summer holidays provision takes a look at sustainable fun. We will be using recycled and reclaimed items to create miniature gardens and flowers for the garden that last all year round.

Booking is not required and these are free with entry.
